Innovative Mobile Pass Celebrates America's 250th Anniversary with 25 Iconic Locations |
Arizona has unveiled the Passport250 program, a mobile pass designed to guide residents and visitors through the state's rich heritage in celebration of America's 250th anniversary.
Launched by the Arizona America250 Commission and the Arizona Office of Tourism, Passport250 offers an immersive exploration of 25 iconic landmarks, historical sites, and cultural institutions across the state.
Secretary of State and Chairman of the Arizona America250 Commission, Adrian Fontes, emphasized the program's significance, stating, "Passport250 offers immersive exploration of Arizona's iconic landmarks, historical sites, cultural institutions, and unique experiences. It's grounded in the values that sustain Arizona, and like the Ponderosa Pine, you won't find something more enduring."
The initiative aims to foster a deeper connection to Arizona's history and culture, encouraging both residents and visitors to engage with the state's diverse heritage.
Participants can access the Passport250 mobile pass directly on their devices, providing a convenient and interactive way to explore the selected sites.
As the nation approaches its semiquincentennial in 2026, Arizona's Passport250 stands as a testament to the state's commitment to honoring and preserving its unique history.
For more information on how to obtain the Passport250 mobile pass and a list of participating locations, residents and visitors are encouraged to visit the official Arizona America250 Commission website. |
